Yeah, but we seriously need to steer this back on track otherwise it'll end up a closed thread, so...

I've been using various revs of GX for for at least a year and a quarter.
I think your probably right, there seem to be alot of problems on alot of threads on here just attributed to user error and mainly people not reading simple instructions.
I guess you gotta use what works for you. MY OPINION is that I don't really care what the loader looks like as long as I can play my games.

Did any part of this title say anything about cfg loader? I'm pretty sure it doesn't. I think he is wondering how to fix a problem with gx.

I'm getting tired of trying to assist people with there gx problems and someone come in the thread and blow up cfg loader.... not even trying to help with there problem. Why are you in this thread if you don't intend on helping with his problem?

BTW, I use gx v2.0 and I have no issues. I don't see why others do!

I tried offering assistance with GX, I even did my own esarch to try and help....if that statment was aimed at me!!.
I don't know much about GX, but I did a search to try and help somebody else out of the goodness of my heart. If people searched for themselves they would find the answers I did. I hope the problem gets sorted and that everybody is happy with their loaders, GX or otherwise.

I like to make suggestions that have negative known outcomes with a large percentage of users. And I won't be there to help you if you are one of these folks that ruin your console.
    Want to take my advice?

We have had many users come through here and ask for assistance with fixing their Wii after using BrickMyWii aka PimpMyWii. It is absolutely not recommended to use. It may work for one person and not for the next five. Do not use it.

This is not true, I use HBC 1.0.1 that runs from IOS36, GX v2 loads fine from HBC. Perhaps you are refering to the forwarder requiring IOS58 and a updated HBC. USB Loader GX v2 is not dependent on a certain version of HBC for loading, it uses a cIOS to load just as any other usb loader does.

I'd used pimp my wii and it work fine for me, if you don't want to use it, try to install it through the 56 installer ios and update you homebrew channel, that's the best thing to do.

Do not use BrickMyWii aka PimpMyWii. What works for one person will cause others to have problems. I don't recommend it at all. There isn't anything that PMW does that cant be done manually and safely.
