Well Cfg works so why not use that? You can get themes for it and make it look better then GX. It's also much more reliable IMO.

Now that GX 2.0 has been released we are starting to see a flood of "GX doesn't work posts"......highly predictable.

We got to a point where those posts were somewhat diminished due to people recommending Wiiflow and Cfg over GX for a good amount of time. It's a shame to see it return to this state just because 2.0 was released.
    Damn I suck!!!!

I am still interested why gx won't work for some people.... what's causing it? It works great for me!

I want to know or figure it out, but every post people don't help they just say.... use cfg.... never help with gx

There are people that help with GX... but others here dont want to suggest things that may or may not brick someone elses wii.. because the cause of the issues is unknown and info given sometimes isnt right on people tend to suggest the safer option..

Alright lets not turn this into another argument. It's within my rights (and anyone else's here) to not help people with a certain loader and recommend another one. They don't have to listen to me or take my advice, just like I don't have to help them with GX.

Yes it works for a lot of people, yes many people don't have issues but just recently with the release of 2.0 there has been double the amount of threads about GX not working. That tells me enough. This isn't even taking into consideration (whether you believe it or not...makes no difference to me) that GX can play a part in making your wii inoperable.

Anyone is free to help with whatever loader they wish, again lets not turn this into another argument about loaders please.

I understand what your saying. We don't know the cause of the bricks. Even though there is a new release v2.0 it isn't running on some Wii's. I do realize by helping someone who doesn't know much about what they are doing could potentially cause a brick. "I don't want that"

I don't know what to say..... I don't really see why it won't play games on his Wii... As far as I can see from his syscheck everything is in order.... cIOS249 rev17 "base38 according to the guide he used" HBC 1.0.8 on IOS58... That should play atleast 1 of the games...

The only thing I can possibly think of is in the settings it is set to load with another cIOS.... Maybe delete the config file and let it build a new one. I honestly don't know.

I don't want to cause a brick in anyones Wii! Just use CFG if that is what is working for you
