It says on the welcome page about what loaders to use and in brackets says 'CFG USB Loader is the best one to use'. I don't understand why people would choose to try other loaders, although I have tried a few myself but have since deleted them and ONLY use CFG, it is the best without a shadow of doubt.
Easy to use and I have found that some of the games that don't load just need to be loaded from a different IOS, easy to do. Black ops does need to be loaded from IOS 250, Worms Battle islands from IOS 223, and with my setup most of my games run from IOS 222, BUT THAT IS WITH MY SETUP.
    CFG CFG CFG!!!!!!!!!!!

    am I missing something?

    EDIT:

Tried loading these 2 games from a Disc On Key (FAT32 on a wbfs folder):
    Super Mario Galaxy 2
    Worms A Space Oddity

and got the same black screen issue.

Like I say, try downloading CFG USB Loader, and install your games to your FAT32 HDD, then try different IOS's to load from. ALL my games work with no probs once I get the IOS right. It might be that you need to check if you've modded your wii properly, always follow the tutorials to the letter. I used the 'softmod any wii' tutorial and evrything works fine.
You can easily change the IOS's in the settings menu on CFG. With the setup I have most of my games load from IOS222, there are a couple that only load from IOS223, and a couple that only load from IOS250.

After looking at your syscheck, it would appear that you are missing some IOS's, try updating your mod or start from fresh using the 'softmod any wii' tutorial.

U should install Hermes v4 or 5 ios 222 and 223, and get the ios58 installer.

Do not install Hermes v5 IOS222 or 223 if using USB Loader GX. Install Hermes v4 IOS222 and 223.

IOS222 and 223 v5 get used with uLoader
IOS222 and 223 v4 gets used with the rest of the usb loaders.

It's better to be safe than sorry. Hermes v4 IOS222/223 works fine and does what it is intended to do. No need for Hermes v5/5.1 when not using uLoader.

Can you give a reason to use Hermes v5/5.1 over Hermes v4? What makes it better? I have given reason to not use Hermes v5/5.1, and it's a good reason.

Also, I could come up with some good reasons to use CFG instead of GX.

I am not using a forwarder, i simply run USB Loader GX through the HomeBrew Channel.

is IOS58 needed for USB Loader GX v2?
