    Random Freezing

Up to date softmod, and I have had several freezes at random locations while playing Cabelas dangerous hunts 2011, and 007 as well. with dangerous hunts the sounds just glitched im still able to play but the noise is overbearing just a loud "eeeeeck". While playing 007 I experienced the same problem except the video froze as well. Is there anyone else that is having this problem? I am wondering is it the game itself, bad sectors on my BRAND NEW hd, or does something need to be patched perhaps?

How would playing the game 5 or more times result in a freeze?

It wouldn't. There is somthing else going on. Does your retail copy work okay?

The retail version seems spotless. The freezing is in fact random, in that it never freezes in the same spot twice. Ive also noticed that, every other time or so, when I load Cfg Usbloader it will say mounting usb device and begin a countdown which will result in an error. After a reboot all is fine. So I'm guessing it is the hd. It is a verbatim 1tb desktop (its on the compatabily list). Switch to a different loader perhaps???

If it doesn't work on Cfg, I seriously doubt it will work on another loader, since Cfg has the best compatibility. Try using different cIOS for the games and/or re-ripping them.

Once you have selected a game (so it shows the description and plays the intro music), press 1 for game options. Somewhere in the options there should be an "IOS:" setting. Press left/right to pick one, then save. I suggest trying 222 or 223 first, since they work on all my games.
