But you get that those three channels were never forwarders, only full channels? In order for them to be useful, the user would have to find the original full channel, extract the dol from it with CustomizeMii, and put it on an SD card or USB drive in one of the two possible folders. I have all three channels if you want to edit them (just offering). I'll leave Full channels.zip in my temp folder for a week, unless I forget about it in which case it will be there for a lot longer.

I'm not trying to criticize your work, since it is far better than anything I could do.

I have an update to the WiiMC channel installer. This is the official WiiMC channel extracted to a wad.

    WiiMC forwarder 1.8 (wad) - HW_AHBPROT + DVD support

    installs with wad manager
    requires IOS58 to run

Full channels don't look in folders , because the app is part of the channel, so there is no need for SD/USB. Normally I dislike full channels because they are usually pretty big, and you have to replace it with a new one each time you want to update the app. Forwarders don't have the app (like a shortcut on your desktop) so they are very small and don't need to be replaced if you update the app.

Those three apps were made to be in full channels. Since the apps are very small and they never get updated, it will only take a couple blocks extra.

A full channel will not look for the boot.dol in the apps folder, but it the app that you are launching may look for an additional folder. Apps like backup loaders, emulators, and media players, all require another folder to look to for the config file, and other files the app depends on. There are some apps that do not require an additional folder, like sysCheck, cleandump, just to name a few.

Mplayer CE forwarder (channel id - MPF1) - Here
I don't know who made this, dogeggs posted it, mr greg added the AHBPROT and USB support

    Mplayer CE - MPF1
    AHBPROT + DVD support
    IOS58 required
    uses 30 blocks

    The forwarder points here
    sd:/apps/mplayer-ce/boot.dol
    sd:/apps/mplayer_ce/boot.dol
    sd:/mplayer/boot.dol
    usb:/apps/mplayer-ce/boot.dol
    usb:/apps/mplayer_ce/boot.dol
    usb:/mplayer/boot.dol

When launching the Channel, simply hold down the right button on the Wiimote's
d-pad for the desired emulator to load (buttons are shown on screen).

Besides that you can specify a favorite emulator in the emu_forwarder.conf config file. This
favorite emulator will be loaded automatically, if no button is pushed on the Wiimote.
