Figured out how to get priiloader to forward onto USB Loader GX, this link:
    Index of /forwarder
has downloads to a whole bunch of usb loader forwarders you can use in priiloader including one for usb loader gx.

Copied the usb loader gx forwarder .dol file to sd card root ( no need to rename to boot ), install file in priiloader ( select this forwarder ). Once installed, in Priiloader settings select autoboot: installed file and return to: autoboot.

Wii boots to usb loader Gx and when I quit games it returns to it. All working well! Thanks for all the pointers.

Do I need a sd card in the wii to load up loader gx?

Do I need a sd card in the wii to load up loader gx? I am very new that this. That is the only way I can load the loader. I have to pop the sd card after the wii is powered up.

    Thanks

    Good name!

Normally you'll have an apps folder on your sd card with the USB loader folder in it. This folder has the loader boot.dol in it - this is the loader application if you like. So you def need the sd card in to load it.

I just leave the card in all the time, is there a reason u don't?

If for some reason you cant leave it in, i think u can put the app on ur hdd but you'd have to google that. Good luck.
