Need help with a 2TB Drive (One Fat32 Partition)

I have a 2TB WD Mybook that I was using with 2 partitions (1gb WBFS and almost 1gb NTFS)

I used Paragon Partition Manager 9 to delete the partitions and make one partition. I formatted it with Fat32 and made it Active.

I made a "wbfs" folder on the drive.

I used Wii Backup Manager 0.3.6-beta1 to convert and transfer my .iso files to the drive.

I then copied the content of my SD card (apps, config, emulation, images, wad, etc) to the root of the usb drive.

I plugged the drive into the Wii and started the Wii.

I clicked on USB Loader GX (rev 938) and it started, but was blank other than the background. After a few seconds I get the message...

"No WBFS or FAT/NTFS partition found".

The options I get are "Select", "Format" and "Return". When I choose "Select", It shows...

    "Partition 1: 1862.36GB"
    "Partition 2: Can't be formatted"
    "Partition 3: Can't be formatted"
    "Partition 4: Can't be formatted"

When I choose Partition 1, I get an Exception (DSI) Error and dumped back to the main menu.

    Notes:

The Wii is a black Wii at 4.3U, softmodded.
This drive is fairly new and has been checked for defects.
This drive was being used for a few months with no issues until I decided to switch to one Fat32 partition.
I have another MyBook (1TB) and I converted that one to 1 large FAT32 the same way listed above and it functions perfectly so I doubt it's the Wii or the softmod.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Yes. It is Primary. I will try the other loaders, but it's odd that the 1TB drive will work as is, and the 2TB will not.

    I downloaded WiiFlow 2.2 (r304 250) and it worked.

I put CFG v58 on the wii (had it right on an sd card) and it worked.

Why would USB Loader GX work on the 1TB and not the 2TB. Incompatible? Do I need to update something on the wii or just wait for a newer version of USB Loader GX. The kids are used to that loader.

Thank you for your very quick assistance.

    wait till gx gets updated...

cfg is the same even simpler if you want you can use this theme and make wiiflow look a bit like gx UI Black & White - WiiFloWiki

For some reason with my 2TB drive I can't go past USBLoader GX 910. Looking at the changelog they changed something having to do with my problem I believe, but i don't recall anymore what it was. Try going back to rev 910 and seeing if you have better luck with it. You can always use another loader for any problem games that rev 910 can't play.
    Goodluck

That worked. USB Loader GX r910 works fine. The latest version worked on my 1gb drive, but not the 2gb. They will have to fix that in the future versions I guess.

    Thanks again guys.

I am using USB Loader GX r910, as you suggested and it plays the games I already backed up onto the drive fine, but I am unable to rip my other games to the fat32 partition. I am able to rip the games with WiiFlow, so the issue must be related to USB Loader GX r910. I am curious if you are able to rip games from original discs onto the fat32 partition with r910?

I like USB Loader GX. I'd concider using WiiFlow if it had an option to "list" the games like USB Loader GX.

GX is not good with FAT32....but yes you can rip to FT32 with GX you just need a later revision. Try r938....or just switch to CFG USB Loader v 60.
    Damn I suck!!!!
