    Exclamation I hav a problem creating a title for this thread

    Hi, i did something to my wii, i think its semi-bricked

    symptoms

    -it wont load ANY channel
    -but i can access my settings
    -boot-mii and multi mod manager wont start
    -cios will run, but it doesnt do anything even when it say its successfully done its thing
    -i do have the option to do a update on the wii, but im scared


    ive tryed alot, so pleez help edit: the internet channel does work, maybe somethings keeping heavy things from operating on it?

    You could help us by saying why it has these problems

    i.e I installed a theme, a wad, updated something etc

    well, i was trying to downgrade so i could get the trucha bug, but it didnt do anything, it just said it was loading something, after 15m i unpluged the wii, plugged it back, then i discoverd the problem.

    what guide were you using?
    what were you downgrading from/to?
    do you have an older wii? (boot2 capable?)

    i got the wii in 2009 i was using the guide that tells you how to softmod a 4.3u wii i downgraded it from 4.3 to a 4.1 succesfully, but i wanted to go lower so i could play my backed up wii ware

    4.1 is the suggested system menu version
    can you run a syscheck? (link in my sig)

    if you can't run it through hbc, try through bannerbomb

    the syscheck freezes up at ios 30 ill try to use banner bomb and see if it works

    what system menu version are you on?
    if you're on > 3.3, they run on ios30, so that may be the issue there

    use Dop-mii Wiibrew Edition and install system menu 4.1 and ios60 v6174
    see if that fixes your problems

    how? I dont kho, it just givs me numbers like ios30 and numbers like that

    ok so update

    in some magical way i got the multi mod manager going and i reinstalled the 4.1u and it did nothing
