Neogamma 250 --- what are you going on about?! "Point at different slots," what?!
Is there a way to make different versions of Neogamma to point at different slots?
guys over at gbatemp were talking about hex-edditing something.. don't know what or where, maybe you can find something on google (please report back if you find something useful ).
Also a new version/brushed up neogamma should be released soon, hopefully that has options to change these settings.
you just like neogamma so much? you going to discload? maybe try uloader as well.
usb loading? better alternatives around like cfg usbload or wiiflow.
I only discload I don't have a usb device. I've looked at other loaders and it seems to me that neogamma just seems to be the easiest thing for my children to use. By pointing at different slots I mean that it can only use IOS249 and I would like to have another that can use IOS250 so I can use separate versions of bases that way if one of them don't work for the game they wanna play they can use the other channel an so on.
check out uLoader.
should have options when you flip in a disc.
for very easy usage by children an usb loading route would be much better. you can boot the wii straight into the loader and have your whole game collection maintained by one of the nice coverlfow loaders like cfg usbloader or wiiflow (maybe check them out on youtube, do not follow any tutorial on there :-P). so you would have to change and save settings once, you can even password protect the settings to leave the kinds alone with the wii and let them play.
source code is just sitting there from what I've seen if I knew what to look for I'd try it. I just figure it seems to be very compatible for most everything. but having to use a cIOS to change a base just for maybe 2 or 3 games.... to me it just seems a little easier to have separate channels instead of messing with settings. I dunno just a thought.
it is in the download uLoader tab.
you will need the apps folder or the uloader folder inside that one (rest is extra stuff etc), just copy over to your sd card and start via hbc. afterwards you can think about having it as a channel etc.
you won't come around some settings adjustments sooner or later.
Ill look into uLoader thanks I didn't know settings could be saved and it would know what to use it's self there after. Also I didn't see a channel made for it. I take out the sd card so they don't mess with the Homebrew channel and accidentally go into like Dop-Mii and really screw something up.
I saw this on Google code not too long ago. It is untested by myself and I don't know how well the author supports the program. Maybe you can try it out and report back. It supposedly does exactly what you are looking for. NewGamma
