Homebrew_browser keeps freezing forcing me to keep restarting my Wii.

I downloaded the latest version of Homebrew_browser and while navigating through the menu tabs or scrolling down or trying to exit back to the loader page, my pointer (little hand) keeps freezing at various times locking up my Wii and forcing me to turn it off and then on again. Plus if I am able to get to an item I want to download, it never downloads the item. I tried loading an earlier version of Homebrew_browser and it at least downloads the item if I am able to get to it, because I still have the freezing issues with it as well. Thanks

I'm not using a micro with an adapter. I don't have another one to try at the moment. The one I've been using is a Sandisk.

I'm guessing that you are saying to stay away from micro's and adapters? Any brand you would recommend or had success with. Thanks

Which version? I downloaded the latest one and a release prior to it and it happens on both, except like I said in my post, The latest one just kept hanging up on the downloads.

That is a very rare thing. In the future, please suggest a Nintendo 2GB SD card made by Sandisk. It has full compatibility, it's cheap, and is widely available.

It could be an incompatible SD card. If you have any USB/GC devices plugged in, remove them.
If that doesn't work, open up the settings.xml file in your homebrew_browser folder with a text editor. Make sure that "setting_repo=" is set to 0. I don't know why that causes problems, but I wasn't able to update when mine was set to a different repository.
