Is it possible to use my pc as a hard drive for Usb Loader GX?

I don't have an external hard drive and my 4gb USB isn't enough space for the files I want to load with USB Loader GX. So what I'm asking here is if it's possible to connect my pc to the wii so that the wii recognizes it as an external hard drive and will be able to load my files in USB Loader GX from my pc. My wii is 4.2 and is set up ready to use the usb loader. I admit that I don't know much about how the wii functions so please give an easy to understand answer. If this is a dumb question please don't say so just give me an answer.

Thankyou. Guess I'll go rummaging around my old computer parts and the garage. Also do I absolutely need Hermes cIOS 222 and 223 or can I just use waninkoko's IOS249 to run USB Loader GX. I'm confused about whether or not there's a difference.

You don't need it (or I should say you might need it)....but there is no reason not to have it. Has better compatibility for some games. You can set them to use 222 or 223 if for some reason 249 doesn't work.

One last question. Would making a backup of a gamecube game follow the same process as making a backup of a wii game, would I use WBFS Manager or another program, and can USB Loader GX be used for loading gamecube backups? (I think it can but I'm not 100% sure so I thought I better check here first) This doesn't break any forum rules right? If it does I'm really sorry, the rules page is kind of hard to understand because it doesn't directly list the things we can't do just the rules that apply to certain legally sensitive topics and general forum etequitte.

Haha, no your right though. Some work with an enclosure.

Nope, gamecube games can't be played from USB unless you have a wode.

Well the only way i can think of is maybe using a adapter and hooking it up via usb
but if your transfering files from your computer use ftpii it is a great program check it out
