Installing a forwarder or channel for USBloager GX

I admit I'm an idiot, but I can't figure this simple thing out. I read everywhere about installing forwarders for the USBloader GX so that I can launch directly from the Wii menu, not having to load Homebrew first.

I have downlaoded .dol files and tried to install the from MMM but nothing works for me.

I can access USBloader GX from the Homebrew channel, how do I make a shortcut for it in the Wii menu?

You get forwarders or channels as wads (download or create one) and install them with wad manager. A forwarder will load a boot.dollars file from a certain location on sd or usb and a channel is the program installed to the wii. Forwarders r probably preferable as they are updatable

Thanks for your reply. I've been looking at USBloader GX website, and they only list .dol files. Do you know where I can get i wad files?

Actually there is a link for a wad file on the wiki page.

    Hi kasperbs,

I don't know where you got HBC from, mine was packed with the forwarders. I have a 4.2E and got mine from here:

Hack pack 4.2 sys menu 16012010.rar

The password is wiihacks.com, I got it from messie's guide that I will always be grateful for :-)

    I hope this helps.
