AnyTitle Deleter problem - can't uninstall files

Hey there, community, I got a small problem with the AnyTitle Deleter and I hoped you could help me out a little. As you know already by reading the topic title, I can't delete files with the AnyTitle Deleter program.

When I boot it, I select IOS 36 (249 or 250 freezes it, and I don't dare trying the others without anyone else approving).

    Then it says the following (after some clicking);

    Code:
    Informing Wii that I am a God... Error! ES_Identify (ret = -1017)

    Initializing Filesystem driver...OK!
    Wiping off fingerprints...
       -Deleting ticket file /ticket/00000001/00000000.tik...
Ticket delete failed (No ticket?) -102
       -Deleting title file /title/00000001/00000000...
    Error! ISFS_Delete(ret = -102)

    Checking system region...

    Pulling Sysmenu TMD...Error! ISFS_Open (ret = -102)
    Reading TMD failed!
    Error! ES_OpenContent (ret = -1017)
    Region detection faliure! 0
    Conf region: 2
I still get to the menu, and from there I want to delete the System Titles with IOS greater than 200. I try this, but then...

    Code:
    Title id. 00000001-000000fa (IOS250)
    Error! ISFS_Open (ret = -106)
Are you sure you want to uninstall this title? (A = Yes, B = No)
        -Deleting ticket file /ticket/00000001/00000000.tik...
Ticket delete failed (No ticket?) -102
        -Delete title file /title/00000001/000000fa...
    Error! ISFS_Delete(ret = -102)
    Press any key...
So apparently I don't have a ticket. Or something... I am not too sure what's wrong. Do I perhaps need a european AnyTitle Deleter? (since it was talking about region, and stuff).

I have a Ver. 4.2E Wii. It's bought since its launch 2006, so it's an old one, and european. If you need more info about something, please tell me. I am a bit new to these kind of things.

If you are trying to softmod you might try the softmod and wii in my signature.

Uuhm... No, on the contrary, I am trying to anti-softmod my Wii. That is, making it a virgin. I followed this topic and got to step C3 before I got stuck. So here I am, trying to solve this problem. =S

I know you guys can be a bit skeptical when it comes to voluntarily remove softmod. It's just that I feel that I got into this not 100% sure and I just want to turn it back as it used to be before I began handling with risky business.

If you wish to simply kill your softmod, accept 4.3 update.

Are you sure? Because I have been reading lots of stuff in this forum about "never update if you have been doing softmod, or else Nintendo will brick your Wii".
And is it ok to keep those ISO200+ files? I thought they needed to go in order to remove all traces of softmod stuff. :S

So now what? Am I to risk bricking the console by updating it with the Metroid: Other M update? I don't feel convinced enough to risk my Wii and downloaded games yet for a couple of hundred dollars. Is there nothing more you can advice me with? Am I on my own? =/
In either case, I can only keep waiting for help to solve this problem so I can go on with the virgin tutorial.

(And sorry for double posting. But according to the rules, it's allowed to post again after 24 hours.)

Updating to 4.3 is safe if you want to turn your back on softmodding forever. That's what 4.3 was made to do... Kill softmods. The virgin guide is for those wishing to send their wii back to nintendo for repair and remove all traces of softmod to avoid the warrenty being voided.

Did you try pressing A at the last screen you get in ATD. It gives all kind of errors normally. If you really want to delete the IOS above 200 then use DOP-Mii. I do not recommend accepting an official disc/online update to 4.3. That is probably the only time I have seen anyone suggest that around here.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Well.. Too late. I put in Other M and updated it.
But it worked! All softmod is gone and the Wii is not bricked! It felt like a wild risk but I'm glad it worked out.

Sorry to be the one turning away from the softmod but I'll let you know that I don't look down on any of you. On the contrary, you guys do incredible things with the Wii. I am just too bad with codes and stuff to play around with things that may hurt my game. Thanks for the help.
