Super Smash Bros Brawl Wii - White Screen after Now Loading

Hey guys, I am about to lose it I think. I have literally looked at almost everything as far I know, tried different cIOS's and used three different usb loaders - usb loader gx, wiiflow, and cfg loader...

I have tried using this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...gx-loader.html and followed EACH step several times now, and still experience this problem:

Everytime I load up the game everything works fine until the first now loading screen, then the game... hangs.... at a white screen. I tried the game on my pc to see if it was a bad disc image, but it worked fine on that...

I'm losing it! Has anyone figured this out? I'll post anything I need to if need be.

    THANKS!

I would just make another backup using cios rev17 and the actual retail disk that you have.

check the settings in your loader and make sure you set it to hermes 222/223 BEFORE you rip it.

Does the original (note: I said original) do the same thing via disc channel?

Thanx Dave, forgot the old traditional cios 222 for this game.

That's the way I had to rip it re: Hermes, Wani's IOS 249 was only at rev 14 with broken dual layer support at the time I needed dual layer support

I still prefer Hermes for it to this day, but can also verify it does indeed work with Rev 17 IOS 249 as well.

alright i'm gonna re rip it and try again. the actual disc itself is perfect! this is so strange and aggravating but the thing that gives me hope is seeing on several other websites and forums people experiencing the same thing. just tried with hermes 222 again. not so lucky.

Is the game for your particular region or out of region? The usual order of things for this title to go is like this: 1. User obtains game image from unnamed source; 2. Plays game and after first match gets "An Error has occurred. Please" etc. That's what folks get when playing either a retail disk ripped with a broken cIOS or when they attempt to play a game that was ripped with a broken cIOS.

    IDK about this white screen...
