You are way out of date. Follow the 3.1-4.1 softmod guide in my signature or this guide. I would also suggest that you update your out dated IOSes using DOP-mii. Just be sure not to install any Stubed IOSes.

No, doing an update from those guides will only update your cIOS and not any of your IOSes. Check out this guide on DOP-mii.

edit: Dont touch your SM using DOP-mii. If you want to update to 4.1 then do so by following the 3.1-4.1 softmod guide.

ok think i am getting it now cIOS=softmod IOS=nintendo files is that right??

So from what i can make out is DOP-mii some sort of automatic IOS updating utility that requires internet connection?

So when is best to install DOP-mii before or after i have upgaded/install all the other apps?

    Sorry for the noob-ness lol

    Yep, cIOS = custom IOS.

DOP-mii is sorta automatic. You still have to chose what IOS that you want to update. It is possible to use it off line but it is a lot easier to use it with an internet connection. Just be sure to read what it is telling you and DON'T INSTALL ANY STUBED IOSES OR CHANGE YOUR SYSTEM MENU.. You also don't need to worry about the Koren IOSes unless of course you have a Koren wii.

There is no install of DOP-mii. It just gets placed on your SD card in the apps folder and started using Homebrew. If you don't want it any more you just simply delete it from your SD card and replace it when you want it again. So before or after your softmod, it doesn't really matter.

Thats awesome help my friend.I'm assuming installing a stubbed IOS will result in a bricked console? How will iknow which IOS are stubbed, looking at my syscheck report above will they be the ones in the column IOS stub, for example:

IOS (revision) IOS StubTrucha Bug ES Identify Flash Access NAND Access Boot2 Access USB 2.0
    IOS4 (rev 65280) Yes ? ? ? ? ? ?
so don't want to install IOS4 in the above example is that correct?

    Thanks for all your help.

No, doing an update from those guides will only update your cIOS and not any of your IOSes
    Step 6 - Update/Install iOS
It will update certain needed IOS. (5 of them I think)

If you don't know how to use dop-mii then you can just download the IOS you need with NUSD and install with wad manager.

Check HERE for more info on IOS. (this will also answer your question about STUBS)

All the info you need is out there, have a look around.

    Thanks for the tip Krank.

And if you do use DOP-mii then it will tell you when you select an IOS if it is a stub or not. Just be sure to read everything that you see on the screen. There is a lot of info there in front of your face but it all makes since if you take the time to read it.

The ??? that you are seeing in your syscheck are the current stubs installed on your wii. The main ones you need to look out for while in DOP-mii are any of the system IOSes such as IOS 30 v2816, IOS 40 v3072, IOS 60 v6400 and IOS 70 v6912. Stay away from those and you will be ok.
