    Certain Backup Refuses to Work

Hello, I softmii hacked my wii a while back, and i have ios 250, 249, 60, 55, 35, and more. (this is according to the options of my wadmanager and the numbers are just off the top of my head)

Anyways, I have been trying to run super mario galaxy 2 now for a while, and I can't seem to get it to. If i run it on the disk channel (which softmii got it to run backups) I get a disk could not be read error, despite the fact the super mario galaxy 2 graphic comes. I tried many different 0.3 gamma backup launchers and they all give me 002 errors, even the ones that claim to have the error fixed.

I even tried gecko OS, and at first that told me I need ios 56 (which I don't have and even after I install the ios 56-64 pack, with the ok confirmation from wadmanager, after I install it it still seems like I dont have it. I tried gecko OS again and i just keep getting the disk cannot be read error.

I know my Wii is hacked, and that the 0.3 gamma channels work, since they play other games. But this game just seems to refuse to play no matter what I do.
I assume I need to install some IOS or update or something, but I really don't know what to do.

Does anyone know what I should do?

    Thanks in advance!

Your loaders are out of date for one, and I'm willing to bet your cios is out of date. 002 fix is automatic in neogamma7+ and could solve your problem. Please try that and if you have any further issues with this game post them in the guide for this game.

According to neogamma instructions, I MUST update to 4.2. I am currently on 3.2u and that is what is keeping all my hacks running in the first place. Its a very risky attempt in that case.

And if im not mistaken, there is no way back to 3.2 from 4.2 software, right?

Neogamma, 4.2 what the heck? Those loaders are dictated by the cios and the ios's the individual games need to run, not system menu versions.

Well thats what I read. Maybe I misunderstood something or was looking at the wrong program. Im not really too experienced with this stuff.

Is it possible for me to be provided with a link to what I need? Like a support page for the program or something? (or a link to a guide that doesn't mention **shudder** updating?)

Alright! Thanks so much guys.. Turns out the cIOS was badly outdated at rev 10. I made it rev 14 and now the game works. And also on Neogamma, which doesn't need an update as it turns out.

My only remaining thoughts is: is this region free? And also how can I put it in the place of my disk channel?

    Thanks again for your help
