Gamecube Backup Launcher mIOS patcher bad hash error, help?

Every time I go to use the Gamecube Backup Launcher all it does it go black screen then restart my system. So I did some research and was told to install a different IOS so that Gamecube backups were playable but now the IOS installer will not install. Even if I use the .wad RVL-mios.v8 it still does not work. When ever I use the mIOS patcher with the internet connection all it does it tells me that there is error 1017 first off which I was told was a IOS249 error which doesn't make sense and the next problem is that, when it gets to the end of trying to install, it tells me that the internet hash is bad. What the does that mean and how do I fix it?

    Error guide says - 1017:
IOS Installation Error Most likely using an old or incorrect IOS, missing an IOS, or the IOS you're trying to install cannot be installed on top of another.

Maybe try and uninstall it and then reinstall it

I did that. Now what do I do about the bad hash error? Because the 1017 is gone but the hash problem still persists.

Try using the cMIOS installer rev3, select WAD install. Make sure to have the RVL-mios.v8 on the root of the SD card, do not put the RVL-mios.v8 in the wad folder.

So I got the cMIOS installer rev3 and used wad install and it told me that there was an error (ret= -1) with the wad. And then I tried to do network install and it gave me the 1017 error AND bad hash error. Wtf is going on?

So I just got it working. I went and reinstalled cIOS38 rev19 with network install. Then installed the cMIOS with installer rev3 and then used rev1 to install the interface into neogamma all through network installation because the wad install didn't seem to want to work. Thank you so so much.
