    "-1:
SD/USB Loader Error Hardware not recognized. Most likely have a cIOS installed incorrectly, out of date, or missing. Possibly formatted the SD card or USB incorrectly, is unsupported, or not enough space."

Try formating your SD Card. Not the quick format but do a full format.

Once again, I ask: where is it located on your SD card? I'd make sure it's on the root (meaning not in a folder, just on the SD card itself) and in the /wads folder. Retry after making sure it's both places...

Your not by anychance trying to combine two different guides are you? Strange that you was getting "Reading IOS38-64-v3867.wad Error! (ret = -1)" when Shadowsonic2 guide uses "IOS38-64-v3610.wad". If so then you need to backup and download the corect pack.

For installing cIOS38 Rev 17 IOS38 - 64 - 3867 IS the wad you need. Not v3610. It will work in the WAD folder or the ROOT. ( Only if you have the correct .wad...which is v3867)
    Damn I suck!!!!

I should've checked on the specific wad he mentioned, thanks guys (though you both have two different opinions for catching my oversight. Also, I knew the install searched for the wad in a default location, and (then I thought) would look elsewhere if not where expected. My memory was a little fuzzy on that.

After reviewing both guides I selected Shadow Sonic's and have stuck with that one and d/l all the files (packs) associated with his guide. All the rar files I have d/l do not contain this files. So, I guess I have to locate and download the correct one and put it on my SD card.

Just for clarification: you know what WinRar is, right? Saying you've just mislocated the proper files, not that you don't know how to unpack the rars, right?

nightstah - yes, I know what WinRar is. Thanks for double checking though.

I have download the files from the link that Krafter posted - Thanks. Still same results and error.

So, I have reformatted the SD card and installed the correct App and still same result.

I am thinking that I may try a different SD card next.
