Question USB Loader GX as a channel?

When I install it as a channel it won't read the HDD at all.. the WAD as homebrew app works perfectly fine.. what could I be doing wrong? What steps are needed to install this correctly as a channel?

Ensure you're not installing a forwarder. That is different than a channel. A forwarder is like a shortcut to the app on the sd card. A channel is a larger file that saves to your wiis memory. If you install a forwarder and don't have the app on your sd then you'll get a black screen.

Yeah couldn't get channel to work so installed forwarder and it works fine.. but for some reason channel won't detect usb device.

That's odd. I would find another wad file for GX. Could just be a bad wad. I think dogeggs has a guide on this. I know he has a guide on the latest neogamma channels, but I vaugely remember seeing something on GX channel. Either way you should be able to find another. If your forwarder works then it's not a softmod issue and the problem is limited to the channel you installed.
