As it was working and now isn't, did u do anything before it stopped working? If not best thing to try would be to delete it from thehd and reinstall it

Do a quick search and youll notice that there have been many problems with this game. Type in the Wiihacks search bar "Tatsunoko vs Capcom" and a list of all problems, even solved ones, will show up.

You will get alot more help that way since the trial and error process will have already been completed... Im sure you will find something in there to help you, if not, then post more elaborate details about the problem your having and we'll be very happy to help you.

    BTW, Welcome to Wiihacks!

okay i did some searching, but it seems this problem was never actually solved or dealt with. there were some answers like making the WBFS partition active (which it still is, never changed it) and stuff like making sure i have the ios the game needs to play with (which is ios 55 i think?) THE THING IS. T v C was working on USB Loader GX from my External HDD (which is a 1TB MyBook) with all of the default settings and ios 249. every other game that i've downloaded works, but one day T v C just stopped playing. The game loads up to the text saying "the ESRB ratings for internet" thing, and then just a black screen. Then i have to unplug and plug back in my Wii cause it freezes or something. it seems at least one other person ran into this problem, but they never got it fixed. so im at a bit of a loss D:
i cant remember doing anything that might have caused the game to suddenly stop working. except IN the game i just recently achieved every playable character. So maybe the ios is bad and i didnt know it?

    thanks for the help

Two things: as you said, the iso file can be bad, or you may have uninstalled a required IOS for that game.

What system menu are you on? If your on 3.4 you might be missing IOS55-64 v4633 in which case you can install it here. Make sure you have some sort of brick protection before you install this wad... Im not sure if its good or not.

If your not on 3.4, then try redownloading it and trying a different .iso file. Do not gt it from the same place. Of course, you'll want to backup your save file using this... you dont want to lose all that progress

Did you try running it on IOS250? That's how I play mine and it works fine. Default settings in ULGX with IOS250

just before the game stopped working had you loaded any new or deleted any old games from your drive?

if so this may be the problem

so guys, once i downloaded the game iso from a different source, and put it on my drive and ran it. IT WORKED! i dont know exactly what was the problem, but the old iso apparently wouldnt work after a certain point in the game? (is my guess)

and yes, i was adding and deleting games from the drive, how could that have been problematic? does this mean it'll happen again?
