Ok I seem to have found a few temporary solutions. First off, when my games start to not work, I reset everything to default. Then, the game magically works. Although sometimes, it will stop loading. Then I change the IOS from 249 to 222 (and sometimes vice-versa) and it'll work again. One rare exception that happened today was that Mario Kart Wii didn't load, and then I accidentally tried to load it again after a restart and all of the sudden it worked. What's going on with the USB Loader?

Hi, i have the same issue, some games give a black screen when going to the wii menu, but only pal games are having this problem. I have an NTSC wii, and the NTSC games work and exit perfect, only some of the PAL games have this issue. For example, i had NSMBwii PAL, and had the issue, then I tested NSMBwii NTSC and worked well.
Some PAL games work ok. I tested different forced regions and options, and some of them didn't load the games at all. Tested last stable version of usb loader gx (883) and lastest beta, from forwarder and from hombrew channel, it doesn't make a difference.

Pretty much same issues here, is there a solution?

Just wondering if there has been a solution for this problem yet, I'm having the same issues although this thread is old, I am using the newest usb loader gx 3.0 ios 249 just recently completed the softmod any wii guide. It only hangs when exiting pal games I get black screen and lose remote connectivity. I have tried using an older version of gx only to find that it loses remote connectivity when loading game list and you can't get it back. The wii is also NTSC and I have tried many different settings for game load including block ios reload and vise versa. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Update

I have also tried usb gx 3.0 IOS 222 and 250 with the same result.
I should add that it occurs going both through hbc and and using GX as an installed channel.

    Problem solved
simple force NTSC in settings fixed it, although I swear I had already tried that or I wouldn't have asked for help lol none the less it's working now.
