    Softmod Woes

Hi all, I have been a member on here for a while now but have not posted anything, so this is my first post so be easy on me.

Basically I have a wii which was originally on 3.4, now 4.0 (can't remember when I updated) I was able to do the twilight hack on it and this allowed me to play backups via wii backup launcher.

Now literally after about 6-7months of not having played on the wii at all, I got Just Dance and tried to play it throught wii backup loader channel and it doesn't seem to work, just get a black screen.

I have read numerous web pages that I need to do this, I need to do that but am now confused as everytime I try to install anything such as bootmii or some custom ios, I get "Your a pirate", error ret 1017, error ret 1035.

I have been away for so long from the scene that I am now totally confused as to what exactly I need to do as most tut's are for completley factory wii's but mine has already been softmodded and i just get errors everytime I try anything.

Can somebody guide me in the right direction and help me in getting Just Dance to work, my little one won't stop bugging me about it.

P.S Thanks to anyone who can help

Well 1035 error is a cIOS related issue so you might like to install cIOS 38 rev 17 using IOS36 or IOS249 depending what you have installed. Also you may need to update your backup loader to the latest-ish available Neogamma.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

If you look in the Recommended Guides, you'll find three guides. Two are for 4.2 units (one is by Messie, the other Shadow Sonic), and one for 4.1 (by Dogeggs). Follow the relevant thread.

If you had followed the rules of the site (something you do when you signup with wiihacks), you'd have posted your first-time post in the Introduction Section of the site, where greeters provide the newbies all sorts of information.
