    DOP MII vs. WAD install

What is the difference(if any) to using WAD manager to install WAD files against using DOP MII to use NUS to update IOS files? IOS53 to play redsteel2 in my particular case. Thanks in advance!

    No difference.

If your not used to using dop-mii then just install the wad. You can download it in the red steel 2 guide by emuhack. Or using NUS downloader on your PC.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Thanks, Krank. I AM more comfortable using DOP Mii, so if its the same, I will use that. Is there limitations on which IOS's I can update using DOPMii? Does it matter if they are modded or not? Future questions so I dont need to post another topic about it again later. Thanks, again.

Luckydog-wasnt a question about 'how to play redsteel 2' I found those answers in the how to play specific backup section. it is fun to participate though, isnt it?

The handy thing about DOP-Mii is that you can ptach your isoes on the fly. So lets say for some reason you need to have a patched ios 53 or any ios you can install and patch it in one step.

Thanks junkmail. Respectfully speaking, of course, I have read that thread and was only wondering about the actual install of said IOS. Appreciate your time and answers, as always. RESPECT to you and yours.

Tealc has a very good guide on nusd. I prefer that personally since dop-ios could have newer rev coming out. I would check that out. i think there's a link to it in the ios link in my sig. Nice to have someone actually wanting to learn how things work.
