Glad you liked it junk! My pleasure. And rumor is we'll be seeing that feature in rev20. Well more like an indirect confirmation from Waninkoko than a rumor, but still..

I was just looking at this again, and still a great wright up. I would just like to say that you should be able to install anything you like in wadmanager with a patched ios36 or a patched ios38 using dop-mii. So if the sole intent is to maintain wadmanager compatibility, it may be simpler to use one of those.

Yeah that's correct. This was more of a project for me to do than anything needed. I still use 222/223 to install WADs sometimes depending on the state my console is in.

Plus installing with the under-200 IOS' requires so many key-presses on the d-pad.

That is true, you could install one of them with dop-mii into say ios248, or something- that saves the d-pad use.

I am still on r-17, what benefits would a base ios57 give me?

Not much tbh. It loads games a second or two faster occasionally from my loaders, and forwarder channels do seem a little snappier. But overall I haven't seen much difference. The biggest was the DL bug is completely fixed in r19, but you won't notice it unless you're dumping the game with a loader and scanning the sectors of the ISO.

I refuse to have Monster Hunter Tri related questions in this thread. Next MH3-related post here by anyone gets them an infraction. Same goes for PoP.

If you're having trouble getting the IOS installed describe the specific steps which are giving you issues and we'll try to get it sorted out. Game-related issues do not belong here.

i was testing this method with monster hunter tri so i can test if the installation of the ios was right or not
    it was my "testing method"
    but it didn't work
    thanks anyway
seems both cios is related somehow so i give up then
    oh almost forgot something
maybe u should use wiixplorer or some sort of it to move wad from blue dump folder easier rather than using computer to move it
    more time efficient with it

Not surprising. Anyways, if people want to they have that option. That's more of a practical type thing than required. They can also use a WM mod which gives access to any folder on an external device, which would prevent them from needing to take any additional steps in that regard. Again, users choice. For me it's a matter of walking a few feet from my Wii to my laptop, which is something I don't mind doing. I imagine that extra 30 seconds won't kill anybody.

i tried n test it with my testing method to load game that use specific cios base and
this tutorial doesn't work when i tried using usbloader gx
but it works like a charm when i tried with conf usbloader
if you are a usbloader gx user you might wanna try other loader to test whether you did it right like this tutorial or not
