could be a rev19 issue. This is from the error code index on the site:

    1029:
Wad Install Error Most likely have cIOS 37 (or other outdated/incorrect IOS) still installed. Memory might be full. Wad may be corrupt (patched/injected incorrectly).

    Q. How do I fix this Error?
    A. Fix it by uninstalling IOS249 (use AnyTitleDeleter) if you have it installed. Try using Custom Wad Manager, as some cIOS may be incompatible with the normal Wad Manager. Try a different wad.

    NVM i got it solved.
I opened up cios rev 19 installer, selected ios250 and selected ios38 as my base ios. after starting up wad manager i selected ios250 and installed the wad. there was no error and it installed perfectly.

Worked for me too, I don't know why, though. Could you explain why did you do all that? and why does it work (LOL)? if anybody knows.

That member would have a very difficult time explaining anything, being banned and all. Only base 38 is compatible with Wad Manager on rev19. This information is included with each of our articles referencing this revision of the cIOS.

There are two methods for running your backups: Disc or USB. If you purchased your console after late Summer-ish '09, you could have a D3-2 drive which prevents backup discs of any kind from playing.
