    Help with Configurable USB Loader

So I'm running a new Wii 4.2u and I had everything up and running just hunky dory fine, then last night I set up the network channel in HBC to download some stuff. Well I left my girlfriend (I know big mistake) with the Wiimote looking at stuff, she installed a few things and now the USB loader doesn't work. When I go to launch it, it goes to the loading screen where it has the big red power switch logo and just sits. Nothing happens. I let it sit for about 20 min with nothing happening.

I know it's not my HD cause it works fine on a friend's wii. Any ideas on a quick fix?

The only thought I have for this is that I'm going to have to use the BootMii to restore my original stuff and start all over, and that is something I'd really like to NOT have to do.

    Thanks in advance everyone!

Negative, I have not tried installing and using the GX loader. Does it use IOS 222 and 249. When I originally did the mod I used this guide GAF's Wii Homebrew Tutorial: Welcome to GAF's Wii Homebrew Tutorial (a friend had done it previously so we just used that one cause we knew it worked)

I'm still VERY new to this whole modded Wii deal, and of course my luck I have problems on like the 3rd day.

ok the most important thing to do is stay with this site cause its the best and people can advise alot better if you use the guide on this site,
but with that said loader gx loads off ios 249 and is really simple to use and download covers and themes
Here is a link to get gx just extract it to the apps folder on your sd card and done

Yea, I'll have to admit I was a little worried about trying to find support on this stuff, but glad someone had at least some idea OK, so if the GX loader doesn't work any other ideas? (I'm currently at work and can't do anything for about another 6 hours) but I'd like to get an idea of things to try when I get home, as last time I did this it took about 2 hours from beginning to end and was pain in my ass of running back and forth with my SD card.

I have no idea, there were a few things, she had downloaded and ran the DVDx, geexbox, Geko OS, and some sorter thinking she was doing a good thing and getting a DVD reading software and a disc backup reader. I didn't even know it was messed up until about an hour or so later when I went to play a game.

So I just had another thought, I had done the NAN backup stuff 2x, once before I started the modding, and once as soon as I had finished and everything was working. Could I use BootMii to restore that NAND from when I finished modding? Also, am I able to just run through that guide in your signature or will I have to use the Dogegg guide to restore it to "virgin" state and then run the guide?

Use the NAND Backup from when you finished modding, that should get you back where you want to be..
Dont forget to click thanks if I helped.

see robgee789 was right, people here are great and full of help, thanks guys I prolly should have thought of that first, but you know being in OMG mode since I had JUST finished this. Still curious to know if I have to restore to Virgin state before going through the guide or if I can just go through it and "over write" what was already there.

    Thanks again.
