    Usb loader gx parental controls?

The parental controls i've seen are kind of a joke.. is there an actual way for me to block what my brothers can play or not?
for example, they don't need to play resident evil or call of duty

how do I block certain games on usb loader gx? can i?

can i block that channel on the wii system menu?

    please help

Use configurable USB loader. You can do all the things you mentioned except block channels on the wii system menu. There is even a handy windows app that allows you to customize the config and theme options very easily. There is a great guide on how to do it as well. Here is the link if you would like to try CFG usb loader. I like it better then GX. Hope this helps.

    Wiiflow also does this too.

Regarding channels, just hide them. On channel hit A+B and drag it up to next page arrow. And place on next page or further.

In USB Loader GX if you go to settings then parental control.
There is a control level there.
    Control level
    0 everyone
    1 (child 7+)
    2 (teen 12+)
    3 (mature 16+)
    4 (adults only 18+)

It looks at the game age, you cannot see any of the games above the age set. You have to enter a password to release them.

Hi, I've been trying with those settings but nothing happend (regarding game blocking by ages). Where is the game age level stored? I think that my games are not properly catalogued. Thanks in advance.

It could be you have not set the pasword after setting.

Settings for parents to control what content their kids see. Everything in this document with ***** beside it is hidden/unusable when the application is locked.

Console --- Click here to lock/unlock advanced features. Requires password to unlock.

Password ***** --- Click here to set a password. When locked it's shown as ********

Control level ***** --- Set the level of parental control here. Games will be excluded from the game list based on this and the settings you have for them in the game-specific settings. Also shown as ******** when the loader is locked.

I am sure that I re-locked after changing the Control Level. Even more, I restarted the wii. Where is stored the clasification (age level) of each game? In the WBFS partition? In the game itself? in the wiiTDB info? I think my problem is in one of these settings. I will appreciate your help.

The GX looks at the game rating. So if you set for example 2, 12+, then set the password, all games with arating above that ie Conduit will be removed from the display.
    I have that on mine.

As far as I know its downloaded from wiitdb. If you have doenloaded the data base that should be it. If you have uploaded your own cover than it won't work.
