Ok. I managed to have the information from the wiitdb. The problem was that the file must be named wiitdb_WBFS1.zip . With that zip and the settings in the Custom Paths, When I press "2" in the wiimote I can see the detail information of a game.
But the Parental Control still doesn't work.
Which type of rating the Loader GX use? Because I see in the wiitdb.xml that there are different types of rating:
    • ESRB Rating:
EC (Early Childhood), E (Everyone), E10+ (Everyone 10+),
T (Teen), M (Mature), AO (Adults Only)
    • CERO Rating:
    A (Everyone), B (12+), C (15+), D (17+), Z (18+)
    • PEGI Rating:
    3+ (4+ for Portugal), 7+ (6+ for Portugal), 12+, 16+ (15+ for Finland), 18+

By the way, in the main page of the Loader, if I press the padlock (up rigth), it say Parental Control not active (or something like that). I am sure that the parental control is active in the Wii settings and also in the Loader GX.

    I will appreciate any help.

    Tks

Maybe its stopped working on the larest version.
    My version 819 it works.
Nothing to do with parental controls on the Wii.
GX unlocked, bottom of GX screen the total number of games are displayed.
In parental control set 2 for +7,set a pssword, and lock.
The total number of games should be less. Also when you select a game the settings button should have been removed.
If you have done all this, check the GX site, for issues with the version you are using.

You can set the age level in the particular game settings. make sure you save it.

Thank God, it's not just me! I'm trying to block the very same games - Call of Duty, and Resident Evil, and have the exact same dilemma. These games are blocked in the System (the game disks will not play), but usb loader gx allows them. The parental controls in loader gx don't seem to be working. I'm using r929

    Thumbs up

Parental control WORKS!! I had to turn the in-game settings on as well, for it to take effect.
It's all perfect now. Phew! Thanks guys for an amazing piece of work.

Could you please explain what did you "turn on" and where? I have the same revision R929 but I can't make it work. The loader is launched thru a forwarder.
    Thanks.

    Thanks.
go to your wii settings, enable parental controls
    launch usbloader gx,
with mine it only works if I don't enable it from usbloader gx,
so parental controls on GX not enabled, parental controls on wii enabled, put it on early childhood just to try and see if it worked

I didn't realise it, but WiiJohn also explains it in post #4
