    SNEEK Questions

Just run the SNEEK application and then seen the original back up of my nand come on the wii although a little slower than usual, heres my questions.

    1. Is it possible to run SNEEK through hd?
    2. If I was to make any system changes would it only affect the back up of my nand an when i switch off and load the wii back up would it revert back to normal?
    3. Similar to the above question, if i run a system update while using SNEEK would it affect my wii or only the back up nand?

I think thats it for now thanks.

    1. Not currently.
    2. Any changes made while using your Sneek SD affect only Sneek.
    3. See 2.

I updated my Sneek from 4.0 to 4.2 officially without problems. It's only cIOS that's faulty, so manual updates won't work currently. Maybe with cIOS rev 18 we'll have another solution.

You were able to update from 4.0 to 4.2 using System Update? I tried updating using a Guitar Hero III disk (original) and it froze as soon as the progress bar came up.

I used the internet update, didn't try a disc update as I don't use them anymore.

Been testing some things out on Sneek, my menuify themes etc. Effectively if these work on my nand back up through Sneek then should they be fine to use on my system?

Should be, that's why Sneek is particularly useful as a test bed.

What about things like downgrading? 3.2U may work on my boot2v4 system, but I hear people who tried to downgrade from 4.2 to <3.4 bricked using the new boot2.

Also, is it safe to downgrade boot2 back to v2 on my real NAND?
