    Removing old backup loader channel

    Hi guys

I'm sure this is a simple thing but I can't find the answer anywhere.

Dating back to my first softmod, this installed a backup loader channel which I now never use. Can anyone tell me how I can safely remove this channel? I now have a neogamma channel so it's causing the lady of the house to be very confused!

    Any help greatly apreciated

Is the channel still stored on your sd card as a WAD? If yes use WAD manager 1.5 and instead of picking install, choose uninstall. Simple

yes it is as long as you don't delete any "IOS" or anything that has to do with system menu stuff

" select IOS36 as the one it should run with and delete any IOS that has a number greater than 200. DO NOT DELETE ANY OTHER IOS WITH IT! "

    Thanks for the reply.

I'm really confused now but thats not hard to do.

Do i want to delete an IOS? I thought i needed to delete something within an IOS. I apologise if this is a dumb question. I know limited stuff about wii hacking so all your help is really apeciated.

I do know i have bootmii installed in the system so thats the first think that shows up when i load my wii so i can backup safely.

EDIT. I've downloaded the 6b version of anytitledeleter but im a little confused about how to install it. Do i just copy to the SD card and use homebrew channel to launch or does it need WAD manager?

No NEVER un-install an "IOS" it will\can brick your system!

what you want to do is put the file(s) in the apps folder on root of sd card and yes launch from hbc
    should look like this
    root:\apps\anytitledeleter\boot.dol
    meta.xml(optional)
    icon.png(optional)]
when you load it should say system menu, channels, game channels, installed or something like that go to installed and find what your looking for but like i said never uninstall a ios under200 or you'll brick

I won't be held responsible if you brick

Thankd for the detailed post. That was very helpful.

Ok I've loaded the AnyTitleDeleter and loaded it in IOS249. I have gone into Installed CHannel Titles and can see a couple of things i downloaded form the Nintendo store but there are 3 unknown titles in there. I assume one of these is the BAckup Disk loader from my original softmod. How am I able to find out what they are?

    Thanks in advance.
