    Hello =)

    I have a friend that wants to sell me his old Wii but i can't test it now so i can't really know what kind of boot1 have and if i can install bootmii as boot2 i only have this serial LU5563XXXX-X wich have a GC2-D2C (v1) drive on it. Could someone help to know if i can install bootmii as boot2 in this Wii and if i can run backup games from neogamma? Thanks for your time.

    the only way to do so on new wiis would be:
    (1) find a new boot 1 exploit (doubt it would happen)
    (2) do some wired hardmod that replaces the boot0-4 chip
    0r (3) if you have a "insert startup disc" wii then if you went to the nintendo main building and jacked a boot1 V1 CD then you could.

    Woah necro bump. Closed.

    @dj_zilk - An LU55 Wii is a bit older of a console and should have no problem installing bootmii/boot2 (I say should, but no promises). Check out the following thread: http://www.wiihacks.com/bricked-wii-...mber-list.html
