I installed Super Smash Bros. Brawl PAL [RSBP01] which I installed directly off the original disc, using Configurable USB Loader v.48. Game works fine, file size: 6.75 GB. Perhaps something's not ripping properly? Try perchance another loader just for the rip? I've tested the game and confirmed it working with:

    Configurable USB Loader v.48
    Wiiflow v.1.1
USB Loader GX r.8xx (can't remember the number).

    (All using IOS222)
    4.1E - Priiloader 0.3b - bootmii as IOS - cIOS 38 r15 - Triiforce MRC v.7 - MPlayer CE v.0.76 - Configurable USB Loader v.48 - WiiFlow v1.1 - SanDisk 2GB SD - 320GB Vertabim HDD
Please remember to hit if I've been of any assistance to you.

    My version numbers

    I am currently running

    cIOS 222 installer v4
    cIOS38r14 installer
    usb loader gx 1.0 r866

I am willing to try to update to cIOS38r16 is it easier than doing all the original soft modding

installing cios38 rev 16 is easy, just get the files, put them under the apps folder in your sd card and boot through hbc. Give it a try to see if it works and let us know!

Try using an IOS that has dual layer support, to install the game. It is said that cIOS38 rev14, 15, and 16, have broken support for dual layer discs. You can either set your usb loader to use IOS222, or install cIOS38 rev13 to rip the game, then once the game is on your HDD, revert back to rev14 or what ever cIOS you had installed. But since you have IOS222 installed, just set the global setting of USB Loader GX to use IOS222 as default for the loader, much easier than installing cIOS rev13, then reinstalling cIOS rev14.
