Gave it another try today, from scratch; still no luck. Either I'm doing something wrong by following those guides, or this bloody WAD just doesn't work.

    Anyone got anything?

Sounds like we're in the same boat, Tony. I've seen some chaps saying they've got the iPlayer working, but never with any details. I suspect they're within the UK and managed to download it from the store without having to update, or something simple like that. (Though, if that's the case, then I don't know why anyone bothered to make an iPlayer WAD, let alone two different versions.)

I'm having the same issue with the WAD on a UK Wii. I can't test this yet but I've read the error is caused by lack of a fake signed WAD. You could try using wwpacker (google it) to fake sign it. You may also want to check:
    http://wiibrew.org/wiki/ShowMiiWads
To change the region of the WAD if you don't have a UK / PAL Wii.

    Good luck!

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for pointing us in the right direction

ShowMiiWads shows the region as Europe

so what we are saying here is that we need to change this to US

    "Filename","Type","Channel Title","Title ID","Version","Blocks","Filesize","IOS Flag","Region Flag","Content","Path"

    C:\BBCiPlayer.wad
    "BBCiPlayer.wad","System Channel","","HCJP","258","44 - 102","5.5 - 12.7 MB","IOS55","Europe","13","00010001\48434a50"

I finally got this working for me!!! iPlayer channel is really nice to use, worth the wait

Below is the WAD I installed to get it (Europe as I'm in the UK), may be try it first then if it doesn't work, change the region flag with ShowMiiWads to (NTSC-U) for the USA:

    Good luck!

    Err, your link doesn't work...
EDIT: I got it working by fixing the ] in the link.

Did you hack the ticket to get it working?

that's what damysteryman and I did yesterday after reading this thread, and here's a wad with the hacked ticket:
    BBC iPlayer (RF) [HCJP01] {Fake Ticket}.wad
    It's region free too.

    But yours is 13.15MB...
    Ours is only 12.73 MB...

    I wonder why...
    Do you know why?
Was your packed with the .trailer file on the end of it?

    Link fixed ^^

I'm not too sure, I just used wwpacker and selected the options for it to patch everything, then it worked. Did you try making my wad region free? Do you still get the 1020 error?

Glad some others are on board.

So I've downloaded each of your WADs. Now, before I give this another go:
    1) Have you got this installed and working on your non-PAL Wii?
    2) Are there any special instructions that I'll need to follow to get it to work?

    TA
