    still confused with region

I have done the tutorial and softmobbed my wii which plays games fine on dvd-r
but i am still confused about region settings
I have neogamma installed and under region i have
    boot lang -autoforce
    force video- disc
    patch video -no
    vidtv patch-no
    patch country str -no
are these correct or should i change them
    i have a pal wii

under rebooter options in neogamma i have
    recovery mode-no
    region free-no
    remove copy flags-no
    button skip-no
    skip updates-no

some of them i change but when i turn back on wii they dont hold
should i have kept the sd card inserted for them to hold or what
took it out because i have a small son and thought he might install something he should not
this is the root of my sd card if it matters

This is how I do things with my wii. I have 2 8GB sd cards. The one has all my files on it that I want in the wii at all times. I have my emulator files, neogamma files, any homebrew game files and stuff like that. The other 8gb is my backup of the 1st one. Then I have a 2gb sd card that just has bootmii and my nand files on it. I then have a sd card that has wad manager always on it and if I need to update my cios, ill put that on there. That way I can keep my 8gb sd card in the wii and nobody will be able to use wad manager (as its not on that sd card). Anyways, to keep your neogamma settings, you need to have the sd card in the wii. Go to configurations and change save config to yes. The only setting in region I change is force region. Default setting is disc, and I change it to wii.
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me by pressing the little thanks button.

Your Wii is a PAL region Wii, and the loader is set to force to the region of the Wii, so that means that your Wii will force PAL region on every disc. If you put in a NTSC disc, you are covered because PAL is being forced.

But make sure to never accept a disc update from an out of region disc, you will brick for sure.

You can scrub the ISO, before burning, to remove the update. Or install priiloader and block updates. I'm sure if you search the forum you will find everything you need to know. I don't burn too many discs, so I'm not much help in this department.
