BIG PROBLEM after trying to backup Metroid Prime Trilogy

PLEASE HELP. I use USB Configurable Loader and tried backing up Metroid Prime Trilogy.I got a message "You are using CIOS 249 rev 14: It has known problems with dual layer games. It is highly recommended that you use a different IOS or revision for installation/playback of this game.
But I still tried backing up by pressing A. I got an error around 50% of trying to back up. BUT I NOTICED AFTER THAT AROUND HALF MY GAMES ARE NOT SHOWING UP. AM I SCREWED? PLEASE HELP.

You are probably fine, check your disk on your pc with wbfs manager. Delete an config files used by you loader, formatting is a simple way to do that, then reinstall the loader. M

Most likely just an issue with the loaders config.

Thank you very much for replying. BUT I am a newbie. So disconnect my external hard drive and connect to PC w/ wbfs manager? Is wbfs manager already on my PC or do I have to download it? Then delete all config files used by loader? Can you give me more precise steps? OR do I just re-load Configurable USB Loader? Again thanks.

WBFS manager would need to be installed on your pc. I don't know if you have it or not, but it allows you to copy game iso files to your hd, and extract iso files form the hd. The website is HERE

The simpilest way to remove your sd configs is to backup the card onto your pc, the format the card. You would the copy back the apps folder, and run the loader. The loader would make a new config file. You would then copy back any needed files to your card, like game roms and such.

Not all the contents as the backup will contain your old config. So just copy back what you know you need. Like folder sd:\apps and sd:\wad, and any other you know you need. The rest, leave on your pc.

Mauifrog, Million thanks! All I had to do was take my hard drive and connect it to PC with WBFS and all the game that were not being displayed correctly, came up after a short time. And I am back up!
