    hi guys

i have modded my wii with this Wii Softmodding for Dummies - Powered by CO.CC and its put 249 rev10 and when i go to 'neogamma' a message comes up saying it needs rev10 or above i have tried to cIOS38 rev14 via wad manager and it cant run it as it is a '.dol.'

the boot.dol folder should be in its own folder within the apps folder on the root of the sd card. It should look something like this:
    SD Card:/apps/cIOS38-rev14/boot.dol

Apparently, you ignored my first post

the boot.dol folder should be in its own folder within the apps folder on the root of the sd card. It should look something like this:
    SD Card:/apps/cIOS38-rev14/boot.dol

After you put in its folder in the apps folder and run homebrew channel, it should be in the list of apps among the other apps. You should also have an IOS38 wad file included with cIOS38-rev14. Place that wad on the root of your sd card.

    hi my friend

i have put it in it's own folder on the sd card but i don't have the cios38 wad i only have the cios38_rev14-installer.dol so im guessing im missing the 'wad'?

when i put it in it's own folder i went on homebrew channel it was not there, do you know where i can get the missing wad file that i need please

    rename the cIOS38-rev14-installer.dol to boot.dol

It should then look like this:
    SD Card/apps/cIOS38-rev14 Installer/boot.dol

After you do that re-insert the card into your wii then try loading it from homebrew channel.

As for not having the wad, if you have an internet connection on your wii, select Network Installation when running the cIOS38-rev14 Installer.

If you don't here is the wad for IOS38, unzip it and place on your root. Then select WAD Installation

    Format sd-card
-extract cios38rev14 installer to the root of your sd-card
    -boot wii with sd-card removed
-Click sd-card icon from wii channel menu, then insert sd-card into wii
-Load boot.dol/elf, cios38rev14 installer should load
