"Homebrew" Migration from SD to USB

I just learned that the "Homebrew" supports USB. How to migrate all Homebrew related stuff from SD to USB?

Side question: What else can be migrated from SD into USB and HOW?

Drop your SD file structure onto your USB device. It'll load when SD is not inserted. if you remove SD while HBC is active it'll try to load USB anyway.

Everything, see above. Includes, homebrew apps(that's your boot.dols), triiforce, media files, covers for USB loading.

The only thing I don't think we can use USB for is actually running bannerbomb to get the thing started because it's launched for the SD channel/Data Management.

weird, I just posted something similar to this at almost the exact same time but went into a little more detail with my question:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-custom-s...partition.html

Are you saying that technically, I could run homebrew channel from a fat formatted partition of my USB external hard drive?

What about in game usage? Is there a way to get the games to think the USB device is actually a SD card so save data can be kept there and loaded from USB as well?

    Moon on a stick.

I don't think a method exists currently that will prevent the Wii from keeping game saves in Wii NAND memory. Sure you can copy them off there to other devices but it'll always want them back.

You can use Triiforce to load VC/Wiiware directly off a USB device using NAND emulation technology. This is really cool stuff. Search for Triiforce.
