I never played that one from disc since I'm on NTSC. I did play it from usb through neogamma7. Only thing I can recommend you try is either playing from usb, or get the qwiif ntsc version, follow pet1's guide for playing it on disc with softmod, then force the video to pal. Look at davepm's guide too. It's really helpful.
I have the Bahamut Pal Version of New Super Mario Bros and get a green screen when trying to boot it.
I soft modded the wii using the tutorial on here so have cIOS38 r14 and NeoGamma r8b7
anyone got any ideas what i can do to get it running without using the USB loader?
I did look for the Nitro Pal Release but cant seem to find it anywhere.
Peter- Did you try davepm's guide?
Mine isnt workin aswell.. Getting green screen at neogamme r8b7 and through uloader aswell. Tried many tutorials but it doesn't seem to work out for me.. I rly want it to work
Which release of the game do you have, therick? I've gotten both the nitro pal release to run from a thumb drive, and the qwiif release to load from disc.
I've got the Bahamut version (PAL)
Frustration!! I have the PAL backup, a PAL Wii. I was getting the green screen so I updated to cios38rev14 and have both Neogamma r7 and Neogamma r8 Beta just in case. (I usually use Coverfloader because it looks best, but reading round here mainly has Neogamma support so I tried that)
I now get a black screen and have to pull the power cord out to resart the Wii.
What am I missing, I have read all over this thread with no luck. Any help please
Forgot to mention I have soft mod and am loading off of USB hard drive. Other backups work without issue.
Im just going to link you to something i used to get it working...
Anyone posting in here be sure to put which release you have, and if you're try to load from disc or usb. Both of those seem to guide which course of action you're to take. Also be sure to read the guides by davepm and pet1 on this. All of the information to run this game is found there. This thread seems to have turned into a catch-all thread and there are more than enough of those on NSMB.
(I'm starting to wonder if nintendo released games like GH5, Ghostbusters, and NSMB as an effort to blow up forums with repeat threads. haha.)
