cIOSCORP v3.5 Release!

well..hmm...

i got 4.2E , rev14 and using USB gx. worksfine but not MP-T3 example.

Can i get cioscorp whitout changing my "old" softmod?
did get the corp get more games running, or im wrong?

im a total noob with this stuff and i need help with setting up everything in the SD card

i put the main installer folder in the apps folder and the wads in the wad folder and i get error ret=1

then i put the main installer in the root but it does not show up on homebrew...what do i do?

The Wads do not go in the wad folder for cIOSCorp, instead the wad files go into a folder called cIOSCorp on your root. Also the installer directory should look like:
X/apps/cIOSCorp 3.5/boot.dol

Thanx, Letter_A, it worked perfectly for the GuitarHero5.

But mow I'm trying to run a USA metroid prime, and it fails. i remember that i need the preloader (for region-free hack). but your guide says it's better to install it BEFORE cIOSCORP.

so i un-installed it, and tried to install preloader 0.29. it failed:

current IOS (36) has the fakesign bug fixed

... any way to fix my confusing?

You probably need to install a clean IOS36 using WAD Manager.

also, if i try to install and run preloader after installing cIOSCORP, it "installs successfully", but just reboots instead of starting. i'm sure its ok and you know about it...

A question for the experanced cIOSCORP users out there.

If I have a game backup that does not work in cIOSCORP and I try the original will it have the same issues as the backup or will it work as if I was on a virgin Wii?

i've got a question about this and id really appreciate it if you guys could help me with it, so i installed the main installer and then installed wiigator then i used multigameisocreator and put yu gi oh falsebound kingdom and pokemon xd gale of darkness in one dvd-r, so 1st they dont come up on the game channel, and 2nd when i go to the backup loader and launch game from dvd i get those 2 pictures so i have 2 problems here 1st problem is that when i load the yugioh game it wont play unless the video mode is on ntsc or pal60 (via y button) but either way its in black and white no colour and the pokemon game wont play no matter what video mode i choose. please help.

If it "installs successfully" but restarts the System Menu, it means it works, and your preloader settings are set to autoboot the system menu (uninstalling preloader does not remove it's settings).

if you get a black screen with MPT, it's a classic video mode problem. Try loading via Gecko OS, forcing whatever video mode the disc is meant to use (USA uses NTSC, EUR uses PAL).

You're using waninkoko's cmios, not WiiGator's. waninkoko's has les compatibility. Try using WiiGator's instead.

To load Pokemon XD via Wii Gator's loader, you need to press B for patched mios on start. It won't work in waninkoko's cmios.

This thread is very helpful. However, I have a problem. Sadly, I have update 4.2u already in the wii and I wonder whether cIOSCORP v3.5 can be installed on it? If I can't, is there a workaround or are there ways to downgrade to 4.1? I'll appreciate any help.
