cIOS38 rev14 breaks Dual Layer Support?

What does this mean? Does it mean dual layer games wont work properly?

wouldn't make much sense if the newest version messed up dual layer games =p

Yes, if you load your games from DVD, they will not work properly. This will have no effect on loading from USB Loaders. You could always boot your DL DVD's with IOS222 and USB Loader GX, it supports disc loading now.

Why would they release an update that did that? It's a big step backward.

It seem odd that waninkoko would support DL discs with previous cIOS, then not support in the latest cIOS, but that's what we have to deal with, so if you use discs to boot with you can use IOS222 and USB Loader GX. Or start using a USB Loader and booting from HDD.

thanks for the info mate. as long as usb loading isn't affected it doesn't bug me much. Hopefully it's just a bug that gets fixed soon =)

no working method (a part for buying an HDD) for us neogamma user? ^^
softchip is not working for me and neogamma dosen't have the option to load game with an Ios

as Stomp_442 said, use USB loader GX, it will load DVD now too!

Softchip is about the only other option.
