well it is a newer wii because all the leh27xx wiis have the d3-2, which i think it wont be able to play disk backups. honestly id save urself the trouble and buy a cheap external hdd and run them off there even if it can play backup disks u cauld brick ur wii trying to figure out how which is what i did with my last one, but if u persever and it manages to play backup disks let me know and ill try what u did! haah see ya mate

So do you fancy sharing your experience ?
Did you use any alternative files other than the ones in the '3.1-4.1' guide ?
My wii has LEH2715 and dont want to do it if its going to brick it, but will have a pop, if its just my time I am wasting, and the worst that can happen is it wont play backups.

I remember years ago hard modding a wii when the serials where just estimates, and wondering if its stll that way.

EDIT: Ive looked on the tracker but no info on it.

Softmodding your wii with LEH27 bricked it ?

I jumped in and used the hackmii guide to try my LEH2715 with limited success

I have got the neogamma loader on (beta 8 r7 RAFA) but it wont load games.

    At least not newer games

    New super mario = no
    Lego indiana jones = no
Mario and sonic olympic winter games = no

    FIFA 10 = yes

So there is definately hope for you LEH27 people

Is there some sort of way I should be patching ISOs to work with neogamma ?

Ok everyone. From what I understand with certian serial numbers some of them have the new drives and some don't. There are percentages that people get from other places that I'm unaware of that tell what the odds of your wii having that drive in it.. If you can get a single game to load from dvd then you're good to go. I would recommend trying a game that is not problematic if you're that concerned. Heck, back up wii sports and play it. The issue is dvd loading, right? If you rip wii sports and burn it to disc and it doesn't work then more than likely you have the evil dvd drive. There's always usb loading.
