aah. I think that's why in the 3.1-4.1 hacking guide it says you should upgrade your firmware to 4.1.

Simple FS Dumper only dumps the actual data contained in your Wii's NAND, while Bootmii actually dumps the physical NAND including non assigned space.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

So the simple FS dump would be what I want for triforce I presume. Excellent! I shall give that a try.

Yes works really well. In our Triiforce thread there was another app called wad2nand which extracted a game wad as well, saved using wad manager in emulation too.

    Great stuff!

also bear in mind that having wiiware in a sd from the channels wears the wii nand out, because every time you play it it gets copied in tha nand and then played, while triiforce runs directly from SD/USB!!

Ok so I decided to check this out. I ran the simple FS dumper to dump the nand (I assume it dumped my current wii ware with it as well because the nand was about 250MB).

I took a wii ware wad i had not yet installed and ran it through wad2nand which gave me two directories, title and ticket. I copied the contents of that into the appropriate directories that were created from my nand dump.

I downloaded the triiforce MRC v6 and put the contents in the apps folder of my SD card. I renamed the "triiforce_mrc_v6_by_marc.dol.dol" file to "boot.dol."

I went into homebrew to load it, it appears in the list, loads fine. It asks me what to load from, and I select SD nand.

It loads up a bunch of windows with question marks instead of wad images. I see on the gbtemp triiforce website that there are image packs you can download.

It looks like you can use the original triiforce forwarder to run triiforce as well which is great.

Now what I would like to know is:

I also assume triiforce is supposed to reboot your wii if you exit the game using the home button?

It seems like they have an auto load for the USB .dol file, is there an auto load .dol for an sd card?

there is no autoload for SD.. and yes it reboots the wii, which is not a problem i guess...

Yet if you use a forwarder, you will be unable to exit from triiforce menu to system menu, it will give you a code dump. I suppose this is because of the new HBC title, which is unknown to triiforce program

I wonder if there will be an auto loading sd version. Is there a way to modify the current .dol file to have SD Card selected by default?

I also got the code dumping that you described. is there a way to exit from triforce without loading a game first and then exiting to the wii menu from there? (which causes the wii to restart). Also, WiiFlow shows up in the list of wads in triiforce. is there a way to make it not show up? Right now I just keep moving it to the end.
