WBFS Manager USB Drive Add to drive

    Hello,

I am trying to use WBFS manager to format and load backups to my Lacie Hard Disk 500GB USB drive.
I select Format, It says complete. When trying to add a file to it, which usually takes a couple of minutes, It says "completed adding new entry" te in like 2 seconds. And actually hasn't added anything to the Games on Wii side?

    Any thoughts?

According to compatibility list that drive is not compatible. However the list might be out if date. Try and format the drive to fat32 first. The format with wbfs.

Yes I had to Format it first being how it was new out of the box.

It is adding the games now. I will post an update if it works as far as the compatibility list goes.

    thx

Us Lacie hdd's work perfect with usb loader gx

I can confirm Lacie hdd's 150, 250, 500gb all are compatible with usb loader gx, even the Lacie 1TB is compatible.(that's what I use) just be sure to format them first on your computer and then format them on WBFS Manager. Also make sure your hdd is plugged in to the bottom usb port or it wont work.

was trying to find out if my Lacie 500Gb was good for USB Loader GX & you confirmed that. As for storing the ISO's on the drive, do you remove the update from them first using wiibrickblocker?

You must first format the hdd on your computer. Then download WBFS Manager 3.0 and install it on to your computer. Then format your hdd using the WBFS manager 3.0. Then add your iso's to your hdd using WBFS manager 3.0. Then you can play them using USB loader GX. Enjoy!

Both Usb loader Gx and Wbfs 3.0 remove unnecessary data from ISO's including updates I believe.
