This installer/removal tool will install Preloader v0.30. It is also capable of updating
any previous version and can be installed over the top of an older install. There is also
a removal option that will restore your system menu and clean all traces of Preloader
from your system.
Usage:
Press (+) to install or update Preloader.
Press (-) to remove Preloader and restore your system menu.
Hold Down (B) with any of the above options to use IOS249.
Press (HOME) to chicken out and quit the installer!
To access Preloader and configure it please hold (RESET) during the boot cycle.
Requirements:
You will need the IOS used to boot the system menu to be patched with ES_Verify. This version of
the installer does NOT currently patch your IOS for you so please use DOP IOS or Free The Bug!!!

This tool comes without any warranties and I accept no liability if you turn your wii into a
paper weight with it. I have tested this tool with 100% success on 23+ WII's. Hopefully you
will have no serious issues with it!

it needs ios36 patched and the hacks are the same - just get the right ones for your sys menu...
Already had the JODI version, installed this today, checked the link to new HBC, all works fine.
Because its the installer its great for people who never had preloader.

Hi all,
I have the 4.2 system menu installed with HBC 1.0.6, cIOS38rev14 and other stuff working fine.
What do I have to do before installing preloader 0.30?
The first post says that "you will need the IOS used to boot the system menu to be patched with ES_Verify."
Which IOS should I patch in my case (system menu 4.2)? IOS70? IOS36? What is the ES_Verify?

you should use DOP-ios to dop ios36 and ios70 with all patches... then install prelaoder
hum... last time I tried to use Dop-IOS (actually, I've used Dop-IOS MOD) to patch IOS36, the program froze and I got black screen for all homebrew applications. Was using system menu 4.1 back then... So I'm a little affraid of using it again.
Is there anything I should be aware of when using Dop-IOS? Can someone give us some quick instructions to do this procedure of patching the necessary IOSes to make preloader run? I'm just being cautious...

you should have a cios to use it and change the ios it is using to 249
So basically, this is just an installer/uninstaller for Preloader?
Can't see any use for it, as you can just reinstall your System menu WAD that is downloadable from NUS Downloader.
But meh, it can be convienent i guess.
EDIT: Seems like the 0.30 isn't compiled and doesn't include any installer code, so i guess i will take back my statements :P Useful tool.
