Wii Homebrew Apps getting Black Screen

When on sys menu 4.2 you will be on IOS61 so all good there. Was it a virgin wii when you were on 4.1?

Hello defhead

I didn't use the 4.2 guide to upgrade wii.
Preveusly I had upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1 from nintendo message.
I have not put any chip if you mean this as "virgin" but it was installed the Homebrew channel.

So what I have to do in order the backup launcher and wadmanager to work properly?

I use the guide that defhead sugests and I found solution to my problems with this guide: [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]

It seems that my problem was on IOS and I reeinstall everithing and now its done for me!!

Another solution would be re-formatting your SD Card. The same problem happened to me but my SD Card was formatted to FAT. I then re-formatted to FAT32 and now it works.

Shame your screen goes black when loading WADManager JohnnyMixal because id suggest using this to install IOS61-patched.wad.

What version of WadManager do you have?
