Thread: Have 4.2 + HBC 1.05, Bootmii doesnt Load after install

    Have 4.2 + HBC 1.05, Bootmii doesnt Load after install

    My wii is LU64 + drivekey modchip
    -Updated HBC before running 4.2 Update through WII WIfi
    -Installed Bootmii as ios

    When I press home on HBC, click bootmii, it just black screen and the dvd tray flashes blue.

    Not bricked, I would just like to be able to get access to Nand recovery just incase. Any ideas?

    NAND recovery with bootmii as IOS is absolutely a last resort option, as any issue with the install will fully brick your Wii. Bootmii/IOS is really no more than a test bed for potential future developments.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Maybe the new bootmii is not yet compatible with LU64 wii's, i think it was done in a bit of a rush TBH.

    But as Tealc says, Installed as IOS, is a veryyyyyy last resort. It may not help you at all depending on the type of brick you encounter.

    I had the same issue...

    I made the mistake of putting the files on the SD card incorrectly - i.e the wrong folder structure.
