Problem with Sports Resort and WD My Passport 250GB external HD using Wiiflow!

    Hi guys!

Just sucessfully partioned my WD My Passport 250GB and got all my games working through Wiiflow. My problem is I was playing Wii Sports Resort and the Wii controller doesnt seem as responsive as playing it through the disc. My guess is because my external HD doesnt have its own power supply as its using the Wii! Is there anyway around this in any settings at all or any cure?

I read that nobody was having trouble with this external HD so assumed it'd be ok. Just hope theres a solution!

That's a new one on me. Haven't tried it by disc though.

I really do doubt that this has anything to do with a power source for your HDD though. The Wii is not that starved of power that Max 2.5W of power draw through the USB would cause a problem that manifests itself in the bluetooth. Surely not.

    Anyone else have thoughts?

So are you saying my WD Passport wont effect the performance of the Wii at all or drain its power/cpu?

I use a WD passport and so do countless others, yet I have never heard of this issue before. From this stand point one can make certain educated guesses.

Just tried it again and its not right. I playing Table Tennis and my Wii controller at times doesnt match the screen. I could have my Wii controller over to my right but yet on the game it sticks to the left! Very annoyin and pointless playing it when im on nearly 2000 skill points. It seems a bit better off a back-up on dvd so it MUST be the WD Passport external HD!
