    Need help installing Wiiflow

Hi guys. Just downloaded Wiiflow and got it working via and SD card. Just want it working via USB only though as im the SD card isnt mine. This is also alot more reliable than USB Loader GX.

Im using a 4GB flash memory at the moment as im just testing it. Will be getting an external hard drive soon so no more discs.

Just want someone to explain exactly what i have to do.

    Cheers!

But compatible Hard drive USB Devices Compatibility List - WikiTemp

    Attach to Wii

    Everything else as card.

You also might like WBFS manager if you don't already have it.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Well theres 2 versions of GX to download off here via Dogeggs and both are unreliable.

The first i downloaded constantly crashed throwing up restart screens and multi-coloured screens. The second worked better but even that crashed at times. I'd be checking the settings then say just press '1' black screen again!

The user interface and themes makes Wiiflow better anyway plus it has dedicated music on the choice of each game. It also has a general overall better look and feel to it!

Have you tried the latest version of GX, because I've had no problems.

    Revisions (USB Loader GX)

You need to install a channel wad onto your Wii with wad manager.

Channel wads are in the WAD folder, Wiiflow StarNight Channel Ios249 NSNW.wad for instance is the one I installed.

Once you get a HDD partition it into two using windows, make a small fat32 and a larger ntfs partition.

Using ncWBSFTool or any WBFS manager format the larger partition to WBSFand make it primary and active.

Install wiiflow and the apps folders onto the smaller fat partition.

Plug the HDD into the bottom or left side USB slot.

When you click through the channel Wiiflow should start.

    need help

Alright folks, this is the closest thread that I could find for the problem I appear to be having. I got wiiflow installed and it was working fine. I was loading games to the hdd via the "install" option within wiiflow. about 8 of them installed just fine, but while I was backing up wii fit it got hung at 20% for about 2.5 hours. I ended up ejecting the disc and doing a hard reboot. now the games that are already on the hdd will read and boot just fine but when I try and install a game through wiiflow the games will hang up. I thought it was a wiiflow issue so I decided to try and load them through WBFS manager and I am getting "error occured while loading drive. Make sure the drive is not in use or open and that it has been formatted to WBFS format." The games on the drive are showing and the info about the drive is showing at the bottom. It is starting to sound like a hdd issue but before I reformat and lose all the progress I've made so far I thought I'd see if anyone else had experienced this. Google searches are bringing up nothing and I can't find a forum where people have had this issue. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. I am using a WD mypassport essential 500gb 400gbwbfs/100gb FAT32

I tried to install one of my games and it hung twice at 98%.
I installed the rest of my games and then downloaded the covers and noticed that the game was there.
Apart from that I'ts been Fine.
Have you got the latest 1C release? http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=178943&st=450
