Thread: Bootmii installation

    I have it set up now he has bootmii as boot2 installed.
    [[ he also has it installed as iso]]((didnt find answers dat its okay to uninstall or will it cause problems if i recover with boot2))
    I made a back up of bootmii folder of the sd.I made the nand backup with boot2.I also installed the new priiloader 0.3 Rev48 works perfectly.Loads to system menu and hbc

    Just tell me he is safe Plz i read almost all posts.

    I'm not sure vwhat you are saying.
    It sounds like he has both installed, IOS and boot2.
    I did not think that was possible, maybe he installed one and then installed the other, the second one is the only one installed.

    If he has installed as boot2 and has a backup, all is well.

    thats what i wanderd when i load up hackmii installer v0.6 and choose to install boot mii it say on both boot2 installed and iso installed. He wouldnt have bootmii folder on his sd card if he didnt have boot2 right

    Thats right, plus when you power on with the bootmii folder on the SD card it goes into the bootmii screen, with IOS it doen't do that, you have to load via HBC.

    is it safe to restore my nand if my wii isnt bricked, bootmii as ios , i want to do this because i installed cios corp 3.6 and have had a few probs <made the nand backup before i installed cios corp> and would like to take it back to an earlyer state like a system restore is this posibale thanks

    I couldn't recommend restoring with IOS. I know it has worked for some people, but that was a last resort. I believe cioscorp has an uninstall feature.
    Best to use that, or narrow down your problems.
