    Playing Videos on the Wii

This is what i would like to be able to do.

I would like to be able to load video files from a DVD on my Wii. Not SdCard, but a DVD.

Not Movie DVD's. You see, i'm a safety Technician and i do tons of presentations, but i don't have a Laptop. I would like to use my Wii (with a projector) to display Photos and Videos that are related to my lectures.

Can anybody help me out here?

I already have a 3.1u Wii with HBC and Neogamma RC4 and GBA Emulator all running on IOS 249 Rev 13 (just so you know i'm not totally new at this)

Yeah i looked around, it's too bad really. That's the sort of stuff Homebrew would be perfect for. I mean, we can have a Whiteboard on the Wii... having more presentation tools would be awesome!

But thanks, this already helps a lot

it is not part of the bootmii, it is just in the same package with it. So no problem, if you already have DVDx from the Hackmii installation, you don't have to redo it...

I have another problem tho... Mplayer AX as channel won't recognise my HDD while the Geexbox plays with no problem... do i have to install ios202 for usb2 support??

you need ios202 for usb2 but if geexbox works you may as well stick with that...
